The topicality of the problem under research is predetermined by the need of psychology and pedagogy for the study of the process of professional identity crisis experience by teachers and development of a system of measures for support of teachers’ pedagogical activity and professional development. The objective of the study is to describe the content of the process of professional identity crisis experience by teachers. The principal method of study of this problem is the phenomenological method, which provides for exploration of the main aspects of the experience process. The results of phenomenological method application for the analysis of professional crisis experience make it possible to state that the professional crisis issue is a specific life situation for labourer where in the alteration of the teacher’s general view of life occurs. The experience of professional identity crisis manifests itself in the polarization of evaluations of the main parameters of the professional and the Self-image (the external activity evaluation, interest in the activity, the control over professional activity and professional situations, professional prospects). Transformation of the notional field of a teacher’s consciousness and reflection (the content of the activity, relation and the proper behaviour in general) are distinguished as the mechanisms of professional crisis experience. The materials of the article may be useful for teachers, psychologists, and heads of educational institutions in the process of planning and implementation of activities on educational process psychological support. © 2016 Sadovnikova et al

The relevance of the analyzed issue is due to the existing need for more attention to the problems of large cities, which are the social and economic centers that perform important functions and realize the interests of the population, business and local government. The purpose of this article is to disclose the sources of the urban growth and development, the integrated assessment of the size and spatial distribution of the economic activity, regional planning and the government activity. The leading approaches to the study of this issue are systemic and reproduction, which, along with the use of econometric modeling and statistical analysis, allowed revealing significant shortcomings of the institutional urban management mechanism and proposing a number of measures to correct these shortcomings. The article illustrates the theoretical basis of modeling of large cities as spatial economic systems, determines their sources of growth, gives the characteristic features of the urban development in modern conditions, and proposes a conceptual model of a modern city. The contents of the article may be useful for the development of social and economic development strategies both the urban district, and the region as a whole, since large cities act as a locomotive, and they move the regional economy in the direction of the social and economic well-being. © 2016 Malikh et al

A model for the education of a student of a vocational pedagogical educational institution through the gaming simulation

The relevance of the problem subject to the research is conditioned by the discrepancy between (a) the orientation of the modern vocational-pedagogical education on the result of the future teacher training that is based on the subject matter and contents, and (b) the need to develop pedagogical skills. The application of the gaming simulation within the process of pedagogical skills development takes such skills to a completely new level. A study of the process of pedagogical skills development at students of a vocational-pedagogical education by way of the gaming simulation is the purpose of the article. Experiment and research activities were carried out during four years. A pedagogical experiment using the specially developed programme allowing discovering the level of pedagogical skills development at the trainees is the leading method for the research of this problem. Research results: The article provides for a model for the education of a student of a vocational-pedagogical educational institution through the gaming simulation; a scheme for this model implementation has been developed. Article contents may be useful for lecturers and students of pedagogical higher education institutions at the monitoring of the education quality. © 2016 Fominykh et al

Get PDF
The paper gives the experience of the V.A. Nasonova Research Institute of Rheumatology in identifying and managing patients with familial Mediterranean fever (FMF). Objective: to describe the features of the disease in patients with FMF in Russia and to compare them with the data obtained in the study of Turkish and Armenian populations with a high incidence of this disease. Patients and methods. The investigation enrolled 23 patients with a documented diagnosis of FMF who met the Turkish pediatric criteria (F. Yalcinkaya et al.) and/or the criteria described by A. Livnech et al. and had two identical mutations (homozygosity) or two different mutations (compound heterozygosity) in the MEFV gene. Among the patients there were 9 men and 14 women. The age of the patients at the time of treatment was 4.5 to 36 years. Their age at onset of FMF was 2 months to 15 years (mean age, 3.2±2.3 years). Results. The examination established that 18 (78.3%) patients were Armenians, 3 were representatives of the North Caucasus peoples (a Darghin woman, an Avar man, and an Ingush/Kabardian man), a man from mixed (Greek/Georgian) marriage, and a Russian woman whose ancestors were Armenian and Jewish. The most common manifestation of FMF were recurrent episodes of fever (22; 95.7%); abdominal pain with fever ranked second (19; 82.6%), followed by chest pain (11; 47.8%), locomotor apparatus lesion (16; 69.6%), and skin lesions (7; 30.4%). The episodes were accompanied by increased levels of acutephase markers in 100% of the patients. There were a high proportion of patients, in whom FMF was concurrent with other rheumatic and autoinflammatory diseases (juvenile chronic arthritis, chronic recurrent multifocal osteomyelitis, and acute rheumatic fever) (7; 30.4%). Twenty-two (95.6%) patients received colchicine; the tumor necrosis factor inhibitor etanercept was prescribed in 2 (8.7%) patients with comorbidity; there was a pronounced therapeutic effect. Conclusion. Although the majority of our patients were Armenians, the disease was also identified in those belonging to the peoples of the North Caucasus and Transcaucasia and in one Russian female patient. There has generally been a fairly typical picture of the disease. The considerable frequency of joint damage and the high proportion of patients with comorbid rheumatic diseases have engaged our attention. From a diagnostic point of view, of importance is the elevated level of acutephase markers during a disease attack, which in combination with the clinical and ethnic characteristics of patients allows the diagnosis of FMF to be suspected

The role of highly dispersed silica nanoparticles in the realization of the effects of granulosa on the maturation and fertilization competence of Sus scrofa domesticus oocytes

Reproductive technologies are some of the key directions in the context of the need to preserve and select highly productive farmed animals in terms of economically useful traits. Improvements of the existing models of the in vitro oocyte maturation system help to solve the problem of low yield of porcine embryos at the final stages of preimplantation development. In the present study, a model of culture medium for gametes (NCSU-23 with 10 % homologous follicular fluid, 10 IU hCG and 10 IU eCG) modernized by the addition of 1·106 granulosa cells (GCs) per ml and 0.001 % of highly dispersed silica nanoparticles (HDSn) is proposed for use in the IVM and IVF technology of donor porcine oocytes. Analysis of the oocyte chromatin status by the Tarkowsky method and assessment of the level of destructive changes in chromatin (apoptosis, pyknosis) revealed a significant percentage increase in matured oocytes and a decrease in the proportion of granulosa cells with degenerated chromatin when using the original culture system. The positive effects of a joint addition of GCs and HDSn to the maturation system have made it possible to increase the indicators of the meiotic maturation and fertilization of oocytes. Optimal results of developmental competence of oocytes were achieved with the joint use of GCs and HDSn in the maturation system (the proportion of matured cells reached 89 %, the level of oocytes with chromosome degeneration was 12 %, 39 % of embryos reached the final stage of preimplantation development). The positive effect of HDSn on oocyte fertilization was accompanied by an abrupt decrease in destructive processes in GCs during culture in the presence of HDSn. The level of somatic cells with pyknotic nuclei was 32 % and the level of apoptosis (TUNEL-test), 21 %, compared with the control (43 and 31 %, p <0.01, respectively). Thus, a high efficiency of the porcine oocyte maturation system in the joint culture of gametes with GCs and HDSn was revealed. It makes it possible to recommend a model of this culture medium at the IVM of female gametes of Sus scrofa domesticus for improving the quality of donor oocytes used in cell and genetic engineering
